Input Selection & Level Control Section Purpose
Input Selection & Level Control Section Purpose
The assemblies covered in this section are responsible for the routing of the
signal being measured by the instrument, whether it is from one of the two
front panel inputs or one of the internal calibration signals, to the RF
Downconverter section of the instrument. There are also two input attenuators
that are used to optimize the signal level applied to the downconverter section.
This section also contains a limiter assembly that will protect the Front End of
the instrument from transient signals that are often present when performing
conducted emissions testing.
