Figure 22-8 Scale Fidelity Setup
Procedure
1. Configure the equipment as shown in Figure 22-8.
2. If the auto alignment for the analyzer has not been performed within the
past 24 hours, press System, Alignments, Align Now, All to perform the
auto alignment routine.
3. On the signal generator, press PRESET, then set the controls as follows:
Frequency, 50, MHz
Amplitude, +5, dBm
RF, On
4. Select RF Input 1 on the receiver by pressing Input/Output, RF Input, RF
Input Port, RF Input.
5. Preset the receiver by pressing Mode, Spectrum Analyzer, Mode Preset.
6. Set up the receiver by pressing:
Mode Setup, EMC Standard, None
Input/Output, More, Freq Ref In, External
FREQ Channel, Center Freq, 50, MHz
SPAN X Scale, Span, 1, MHz
AMPTD Y Scale, Ref Level, 0, dBm
Meas Setup, Average/Hold Number, 10, Enter
