2.38.4 Voice Mail Box Translation
Description
Stations can be assigned to employ a Voice mailbox number that is different from the station number.
When a call is routed to voice mail, the system will identify the mailbox as the assigned VM box
number in place of the station number. The VM box number can be any 4-digit number (‘0001’ to
‘9999’). An entry of 0000 or blank sends the station number to the VM system.

System
Operation of this feature is automatic when programmed.
Conditions
1. VM box translation applies to Feature Server and Adjunct In-band and SMDI Voice mail
systems.
