** The ED-8C724-20 Group 394 sync input cable is required ONLY if the DDM-2000 OC-12 shelf is
equipped with BBF2B/BBF4 circuit packs configured for providing a sync output for the BITS clock and
the BBF2B/BBF4 circuit packs are externally timed to a DS1 reference. The Group 394 cable connects
to P66 on the DDM-2000 OC-12 shelf in series with the cable that is providing the incoming external ref-
erence signal.
