Order Wire Interface Cabling - Front Access
Description
The order wire interface provides access for optional connection to an external order
wire system allowing point-to-point voice communication between adjacent nodes in a
DDM-2000 OC-12 system.
Procedure
(1) Connect a Group 167 or ED8C724-22, Group 31order wire cable P20 to the
Group 215 front access order wire cable J220 previously connected to the shelf.
(2) Route the cable to the orderwire interface. Stack the cables in the bay duct as
shown in Figure 3-2 on page 3-47.
(3) Wire-wrap the unterminated end of the cable assembly to the order wire inter-
face. Refer to Table 3-15 on page 3-44.
