IMPORTANT INSTALLATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read and understand all instructions.
2. Installation and maintenance procedures must be followed and performed by
trained personnel only.
3. DS3 and OC-3 interfaces should not leave the building premises unless con-
nected to telecommunication devices providing primary or secondary protection,
as applicable.
4. For information on proper mounting instructions, consult the appropriate section in
this installation manual.
5. Never install telecommunication wiring during a lightning storm.
6. Never install telecommunication connections in wet locations.
7. Never touch uninsulated telecommunication wires or terminals unless the tele-
communication line has been disconnected at the DS3 or OC-3 interface.
8. Use caution when installing or modifying telecommunication lines.
