8-3-2 Operation Example
The STO is also activated if a hardware failure is detected during the self diagnosis. In this case, the
STO remains active until the power is turned OFF.
Precautions for Correct Use
Design programs for the safety controller so that the STO function is not canceled automatically
even when the emergency stop switch is released.
