Removing Expansion Shelves
Removing Expansion Shelves
To remove an Expansion shelf from a TimeHub system:
1. Disconnect the two Expansion Link cables from the rear of the Expansion shelf. If
this was the only Expansion shelf in the system, continue with step 3.
2. Install the Termination Connectors onto the last Expansion shelf in the chain.
3. Issue the following TL1 commands to remove the shelf from the Clock database:
ed-eqpt::s1-clk1:sv1:::eclkexp=n;
ed-eqpt::s1-clk2:sv1:::eclkexp=n;
4. Issue the following TL1 commands to verify that the Expansion shelf is removed
from the database:
rtrv-eqpt::s1-clk1:sv1:::parameter=eclkexp;
rtrv-eqpt::s1-clk2:sv1:::parameter=eclkexp;
