Provisioning the Outputs
A successful response is:
SYMMBITS 04-10-11 10:35:54
M SV267 COMPLD

2. Check the INSRVC setting by issuing the following TL1 command:
RTRV-EQPT::S1-OUTC:SV268:::PARAMETER=INSRVC;
which produces the following response, showing that this card is in-service
(INSRVC = N indicates that it is not in-service):
SYMMBITS 04-10-11 10:35:54
M SV268 COMPLD
"S1-OUTC::INSRVC = Y"

3. If this port is connected to a DS1 Output Connector card, you may need to
provision the output framing. Issue the following TL1 command:
ED-EQPT::S1-OUTC-PG2:SV271:::OUTESF=Y;
where S1- indicates Expansion shelf 1
OUTC indicates output group C
PG2 indicates Program Group 2 (channels 21 – 40)
SV271 is the ctag
OUTESF = Y indicates ESF (N indicates D4/SF)
The response to the above command is:
SYMMBITS 04-10-11 10:43:40
M SV271 COMPLD

4. Check the framing setting by issuing the following command:
RTRV-EQPT::S1-OUTC-PG2:SV272:::parameter=OUTESF;
which produces the following response:
SYMMBITS 04-10-11 10:43:40
M SV272 COMPLD
"S1-OUTC-PG2::OUTESF = Y"
;
This response shows that the output framing is set to ESF.
