3. Route the power cord on the oiler to the back of the
electrical cabinet, and connect it to any of the Accessory
outlets.
4. Fill the oiler's sreservoir with machine oil to about 80%
full.
5. You must verify the installation before you install any
additional components. If you are not installing any
additional components, you still must verify the core
installation before you use the machine for the first
time. Go to "Verify the Installation" (below).
Note: You'll set the interval time and the
actuation time for the automatic oiler after you
verify the core installation. For information, see
"Set Up the Automatic Oiler" (page56).
Make Manual Oiler Connections
1. Remove and discard the orange plastic shipping plug
from the oiler.
2. Connect the existing oil line on the mill to the oil line on
the oiler.
3. Secure the oil line in the mounting clips on the machine
stand.
4. Fill the oiler's sreservoir with machine oil to about 80%
full.
Set Up the Manual Oiler
1. Pull and release the plunger on the oiler until oil is
pushed through the distribution system. After that, pull
the plunger at the following times:
l Evert time you power on the mill
l Every four hours of operation
2. You must verify the installation before you install any
additional components. If you are not installing any
additional components, you still must verify the core
installation before you use the machine for the first
time. Go to "Verify the Installation" (below).
4.7.7 Verify the Installation
After installing the base machine, you must verify the
installation. Complete the following steps in the order listed:
Power On the Machine 52
Power Off the Machine 54
Verify Limit Switch Function 54
Verify Axes Function 54
Verify Spindle Function 55
Power On the Machine
1. Use a multimeter to verify that the electrical service in
your location meets the following requirements. If your
location does not meet these requirements, do not
install the machine. Instead, you must consult with a
local electrician about your options.

2. Connect the machine's mains power cable to the verified
electrical service.
3. Find the Main Disconnect switch, and then remove the
hang tag (if present).
