positivecablelast.Also,disconnectwireharnessconnectorfrombothofthe
TECcontrollers,disconnectandremovetheengineECUanddisconnectthe
terminalconnectorfromthealternator.Attachweldergroundcablenomore
thantwo(2)feet(0.6meters)fromtheweldinglocation.
18.Makesuretodisposeofpotentiallyharmfulwaste(e.g.fuel,oil,engine
coolant,lters,battery)inanenvironmentallysafemanner.Followalllocal
codesandregulationswhenrecyclingordisposingofwaste.

Themachineincludesabattery−disconnectswitchlocatedunderthehoodin
therightrearcorneroftheenginecompartment.Turningthebatterydisconnect
switchtotheOFFpositionopensthe12Voltand24Voltbatterygroundcircuit.
ThebatterydisconnectswitchshouldbesettoOFFwhenservicingthemachine.
TheswitchcanbelockedintheOFFpositionifdesired.
CAUTION
DoNotturnthebattery−disconnectswitchtotheOFFposition
whiletheengineisrunning.Thebattery−disconnectswitchisnot
anemergencyshutoff.IfthebatterydisconnectswitchissettoOFF
whiletheengineisrunning,theenginewillcontinuetorunonthe
powersuppliedbythe12Voltalternatorandyoumaycausedamage
toelectricalcomponentsincludingtheToroElectronicControllers
(TECs).
