positionoftheswashplateandthepumpdisplacement.Electricaloutputsfrom
themachineTECcontrollerareprovidedtotwo(2)solenoidcoilsforpump
control.OnesolenoidcontrolstheAsidepumpdisplacement(forwarddirection)
andtheothercontrolstheBsidepumpdisplacement(reversedirection)The
pistonpumpcontrolassemblyisattachedtotheleftsideofthepistonpump
(Figure268).
Note:Toassistintroubleshooting,thepistonpumpsolenoidcoilscanbe
exchangedbecausetheyareidentical.Iftheproblemfollowstheexchangedcoil,
aproblemwiththecoilislikely.Iftheproblemremainsunchanged,something
otherthanthesolenoidcoilisatfault(e.g.tractionpedal,tractionpedalposition
sensor,circuitwiring,hydraulicproblem).
