senderincreasesasthefuellevelinthefueltankdecreases.Thefuelsender
isaninputtotheT oroElectronicController(TEC)andprovideinformationfor
theInfoCenterfuelgauge.Thefuelsenderisaslidingoatdesignwithasingle
wireharnessconnector.
Testing
1.MakesurekeyswitchisOFF .Removekeyfromkeyswitch.
2.Turnbattery−disconnectswitchtotheOFFposition.
3.Disconnectthefuelsenderfromthemachinewireharnessconnector.
4.Removescrewsandlockwashersthatsecurethefuelsendertothefueltank.
5.Carefullyremovefuelsenderandgasketfromthefueltank.Cleanallfuel
fromthesender.
6.Inspectsendergasketfordamageandreplaceifnecessary.
