Solenoidvalveinsteering/deckliftmanifoldfor
theaffecteddeckisfaulty.
Pressurecompensatorvalve(LC)in
steering/deckliftmanifoldisfaulty.
Note:Whentheengineisrunningbelow2000
RPM,onlyonedeckcanberaisedatatime.
Finalgearpumpsectionforliftcircuitiswornor
damaged(awornordamagednalgearpump
sectionwillalsoaffectthetraction(charge)and
steeringcircuits).
Cuttingdecksraise,butwillnotstayup.Liftcircuithydrauliclinesorttingsforthe
affecteddeckareleaking.
Liftcylinderfortheaffecteddeckiswornor
damaged.
Note:Liftcylinderscannotprovidean
absolutelyperfectseal.Acuttingdeckwill
eventuallylowerifleftintheraisedposition
duringstorage.
Solenoidvalveinsteering/deckliftmanifold
fortheaffecteddeck(S4,S6,S9)isleaking
ordamaged.
Cuttingdeckswillnotlower.Anelectricalproblemfortheaffecteddeck
exists(seeChapter6:ElectricalSystem(page
6–1)).
Liftarmpivotsfortheaffecteddeckarebinding.
Liftcylinderfortheaffecteddeckisdamaged.
Counterbalancepressureisexcessive(all
cuttingdecksareaffected).
Note:Toloweracuttingdeck,theseatmust
beoccupiedandthetractionspeedmustbein
theLOW(mow)position.
Solenoidvalveinsteering/deckliftmanifoldfor
theaffecteddeckisfaulty.
Sidecuttingdeckdropstoofast.Excessivedebrisbuildupontheaffected
cuttingdeck.
Oriceinsteering/deckliftmanifoldforthe

damaged.
