3.Ablowerfanmotorthatprovidesairmovementthroughtheheatercoreand
intothecab.Thefanmotorisacomponentofthemixingboxlocatedinthe
cabheadliner.Thefanmotorisalsousedfortheairconditioningsystem.
4.Operatorcontrolstoadjustthefanspeedandtocontrolthecabair
temperature.
AirConditioningSystemPerformance
Thereareanumberoffactorsthatcanaffecttheperformanceofthe
Groundsmaster5910airconditioningsystem.T oensurethebestsystem
operation,inspectthefollowingcomponents.
1.Makesurethattheheatercontrolfullyclosestheheatervalveinthecab
headliner.
2.Makesurethatthecondenserandevaporatornsareclean.
3.Verifythatrefrigerantchargequantityandsystemoperatingpressuresare
correct.
4.Makesurethatexposedmetalsurfacesinsidecabareinsulated.
5.Ifambienttemperaturesexceeds43ºC(110ºF),applyadditionalwindow
tintingtolowersolarheatloadtocab.
