ttings.Installttingsintomanifoldopeningsusingmarksmadeduringthe
removalprocesstoproperlyorientatettings.Tightenhydraulicttingsto
torquevalueprovided(Figure99).Forinformationontighteningprocedures
forhydraulicttings,seeInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraight
ThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9).
2.Positiontractioncontrolmanifoldintheframeandsecurewiththemounting
bracketandallmanifoldmountingcapscrews.Tightenthecapscrewsnger
tightonlyatthistime.
3.Removecapsandplugsfromttingsandtubes(hardlines).Usinglabels
placedduringremoval,properlyconnecthydraulictubestomanifold(see
InstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)(page5–7)).
4.Tightenmanifoldmountingcapscrewsfrom58to72N·m(43to53ft−lb).
5.Removecapsandplugsfromttingsandhoses(softlines).Usinglabels
placedduringremoval,properlyconnecthydraulichosestomanifold(see
InstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)(page5–7)).
6.Connectwireharnessconnectortothesolenoidvalveandtemperature
sender.
7.Makesurehydraulictankisfull.Addcorrectoilifnecessary.
8.Checkhydraulicsystemforleaksbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
