allinputs,qualiersandoutputsarecorrectforthemachineoperationselected,
yettheoperationdoesnotfunctionasitshould,theoutputcomponentmaybe
faulty.Inthisexample,thecontrolleroutputisoccurringbutthefaultycomponent
ispreventingtheoperationfromfunctioning.Testthespecicoutputandoutput
wiring(seeT esting(page5–36)).
PTOoperationexample:
•TestthePTOswitch(input)andtheseatswitch(qualier).IfONandOFF
donotalternatewhentheswitchismovedOPENandCLOSED,theswitch
orthecircuitwiringfortheswitchisfaultyandshouldbetested(seeT esting
(page5–36)).
•ThequaliersLeftDeckFloat,CTRDeckLower/Float,RightDeckFloatand
HighRangearesolenoidsthatmustbeenergizedbeforetheoperationcan
proceed.Thesolenoidsareenergizedbycontrolleroutputs,andtherefore
cannotbetestedusingtheInfoCenterprocedure.Testthespecicoutputand
outputwiring(seeTesting(page5–36)).
