6.5.1 Definition of the real travel range
The real travel range is defined by the difference between parameter 300 "Software
limit switch min." and parameter 301 "Software limit switch max.". The real travel
range must always be smaller than the maximum travel range.
The maximum travel range is limited by the resolution of the internal position
measuring system and the following conventions apply:
Position measuring system: measurable number of revolutions = 65472 or 4079
Value range limited by C4 data type: -2147483648 to 2147483648 (internally
limited to static limits -200000000 to 2000000000)
Default values of the software limit switches always refer to the default values for
P001 "Gear reduction" and P002 "Pitch"

Table 19: Examples from calculation of the maximum travel range
The 32-bit number range is checked during the software limit switch dimensioning. If
a range violation occurs, the pitch value can be reduced by the factor 10, for
example.
The pitch value now no longer corresponds to the C4 data type. This also applies for
the actual value of position, the target position and the software limit switch position
values.
