6.6.2 Definition of the reference point coordinate
By parameterizing the encoTRive, the drive-internal position sensor can be adapted to
the application-specific rotary axis with gearbox. Since the encoTRive or the
underlying drive profile ProfiDrive only supports integers, the gear ratio "i" must be
parameterized as a fraction with numerator P001[0] and denominator P001[1]. The
parameter P006 “Travel range” defines the maximum position value of the application
before the actual value of position P100 restarts from zero.
Table 20: Parameters relevant to the definition of the travel range
The activation of the rotary axis functionality takes place as soon as the parameter
value P006 is > 0.
The following conditions must be observed during parameterization:
Gear ratio numerator P001[0] < P006 Travel range
Gear ratio numerator P001[0] < 32768
Travel range P006 > 0
Gear ratio numerator P001[0] ≥ Gear ratio denominator P001[1]
