13.5 Initial commissioning, manual control with the monitoring table
It is recommended that the encoTRive be controlled manually for initial
commissioning. This can be achieved with the help of the monitoring table in the TIA-
Portal. This makes it possible to read and write the parameters directly from the
encoTRive.

13.6 Parameterization via PROFINET
For cyclic or acyclic parameterization via PKW or RecordData, use of the available
function blocks with the relevant documentation is recommended.
In detail, these are:
● TR-EMO-TI-DGB-0067, TR-EMO-SW-DGB-0036
S7 function block for acyclic parameterization
● TR-EMO-TI-DGB-0068, TR-EMO-SW-DGB-0034
S7 function block for commissioning via PZD channel
