The "Webserver" described below is only implemented in drives in which the index
of the firmware number at the penultimate position is ≥ 2. Example: 0141x-xx2x.
15.1 Description
The web server is used to diagnose and evaluate the encoTRives via the Internet or a
local network using a web browser. On various web pages, which can be selected via
a horizontally arranged menu bar, the most important parameters and their parameter
values are displayed. In addition, there are links to this user manual and to the TR-
Electronic homepage.
15.2 Security Notes
Protection against compromising the encoTRive or the network and the necessary
measures (for example limitation of the network access, use of firewalls, ...) are to
be taken by the user.
15.3 Web browser
To access the HTML pages of the encoTRive, a web browser is required. The
following web browsers have been tested for communication with the encoTRive:
Internet Explorer (Version 10)
Mozilla Firefox (Version 66)
Google Chrome (Version 74)
15.4 Establishing a connection to the web server
The connection to the web server within a local network can be established by
entering the IP address of the configured encoTRive in the address bar of the web
browser, e.g. http://192.168.1.56.
Accessing the encoTRives web server via the Internet or other networks may
require further measures.
15.5 Language setting
The web server provides messages and diagnostic information in German and
English. The language switch is located in the upper right corner of all web pages.
Switching is possible at any time.
