Finding the center of rotation
Before you can take the measurements, you must locate the COR.
The COR is not always easy to find. Typically, the COR has a circular cap and
hydraulic hoses feeding into it, and there is a circular ‘tower’ close by:

Measuring the boom pin lateral offset
1. Mark the centerline of the boom near the boom pin.
2. Use a square and a tape measure to find the perpendicular distance from the
