IGMP SNOOPING COMMANDS
ip igmp snooping
(Global)
The ip igmp snooping Global Configuration mode command enables
Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping. To disable IGMP
snooping, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping
no ip igmp snooping
Default Configuration
IGMP snooping is disabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
IGMP snooping can only be enabled on static VLANs. It must not be
enabled on Private VLANs or their community VLANs.
Example
The following example enables IGMP snooping.
ip igmp snooping
