In the following example, the counters for interface 1 are cleared.
set interface active The set interface active Privileged EXEC mode command reactivates an
interface that was shutdown.
Syntax
set interface active {ethernet interface | port-channel
port-channel-number}
Parameters
■ interface — Valid Ethernet port. Elana
■ port-channel-number — Valid port-channel number.

This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be
active, but were shutdown by the system for some reason (e.g., port
security).
Example
The following example reactivates interface 1.
show interfaces
advertise
The show interfaces advertise Privileged EXEC mode command
displays auto-negotiation data.
