The maximum size of the file (or the music) to import is 10 minutes.
Importing sound file for Music on Hold
- Select via PM5 or MMC set, the music on hold by default (standard; example via MMC set: menus
"Voice", "SrcMus", "Stndart".
- Create a sound file for the new music on hold using a PC equipped with a sound baster board (for
instance) with the correct format listed before. The format and the size of the file may be verified
using "Windows recorder" (select file properties)
- (It is also possible to convert a sound file to the correct format using the same "Windows recorder"
tool, and menus "save as", Choose the correct format in the list and Click on "Convert now")
- Open Internet browser and remove the proxy.
- Access to the main CPU with it's IP address (by default: 192.168.92.246:81)
- Enter the login Operator
- Enter the password help1954
- The system displays the following Windows
- "Alcatel OmniPCX Office" " Boards monitoring and music on hold"
- Select the sound file to be imported clicking on "Parcourir" or "Browse"
- Then click on "Submit" to import the file
- If the operation is successful, the following screen "MOH CODER : Success" appears (this operation
may take few seconds according the size of the file)
- Then select with PM5 or MMC Set the recorded music; example via MMC Set: menus "Voice", ""Src-
Mus", "Prvoice".
- The new music is available in the system.
Recording music on hold via MMC station
It is also possible to record the music on hold using the MMC station programming mode. To do so,
proceed as follow
- enter in programming mode using 4034 or Advanced set
- enter in "System" session
- select "Instal" menu
- enter the password
- select "Voice" menu in the second page
- select "MOH" menu
- select "Music" message by access on "Prev" or "Next" keys (Message 1 is selected by de-
fault).
- press "Record" key twice in order to record the music on hold using the handset
- once the music on hold recorded, enable it using "Muscrc", VoicPr" and "OK" menus.
RECORDING PREANNOUNCEMENT MESSAGES 01 TO 08 VIA MMC
STATION
It is also possible to record preannouncement messages 1 to 8 using the MMC MR2 programming
mode as in the previous systems.
