3.3 Timer

When NOT using the startup timer
The instrument can be set so that it sleeps automatically after finishing measurement or tube washing even when
<Startup timer> is set to <Not use> (see “3.3.1. Setting the Timer Conditions” on page 3-4).
a During measurement, touch .
• “Proceed to the sleep mode after finishing the current operation?” will appear.
b Touch .
• The standby switch will alternately light green and orange (The sleep mode is set). The instrument will sleep when
measurement or tube washing finishes.
To cancel the sleep mode setting:
The standby switch alternately lights green and orange when the sleep mode is set.
a Touch .
• The sleep mode setting will be canceled and the standby switch will light green.
To cancel the sleep mode:
The standby switch lights orange during the sleep mode.
a Press any button except .
• “Turn on the power?” will appear.
b Touch .
• The instrument starts warming up.
REFERENCE:
When not using the startup timer, the instrument cannot enter the sleep mode from the standby screen.
