4.3.7 Disassembling and Washing the Dilution Container
Remove the dilution container from the instrument and wash it thoroughly once a year to clean the dirt and remove
remnants of the rubber cap. Inaccurate measurement results may be obtained if the dilution container is dirty.
Prepare: Tweezers AA, neutral detergent, cotton swabs, gauze, purified water, beaker
and protective gloves
1 Prepare for cleaning and remove the dilution container cover.

2 Detach the dilution container unit.
a Lift out the dilution container to remove it and pull it forward.
b Disconnect all three tubes from the dilution container unit.
• Pull out the two tubes from the right side.
• Loosen the joint by hand to remove the tube from the left side.
Wear protective gloves to prevent exposure to pathogenic microbes.
Discard used cleaning tools and protective gloves in accordance with local regulations for
biohazardous waste.
