5.5.3 Replacing the Tubes of the Drain Pinch Valves
If the trouble “T-351 to T-353 Drain flow” appears on the screen, the tubes of the drain pinch valves may have a
problem. This trouble can be resolved by pinching the tubes in the hooks of the drain pinch valves correctly. If any of
the tubes are damaged, replace them with new ones.
Prepare: Spare tubes (for pinch valves), gauze
and protective gloves
1 Turn off the power.
a Make sure the standby screen is displayed and press the standby switch.
The power will be turned off.
2 Open the maintenance cover.
a Open the front cover, and then maintenance cover.
3 Check the tubes.
a Check if any of the tubes are unhooked from the drain pinch
valves.
If there is an unhooked tube, pinch the tube in the correct hook as
shown on the right. Go to step 5.
If all the tubes are set in the drain pinch valves correctly, the
problem is in the tubes. Go to step 4.
Wear protective gloves to prevent exposure to pathogenic microbes.
Discard used tubes and protective gloves in accordance with local regulations for
biohazardous waste.

NOTE:
There are two hooks on each valve. Be sure to pinch the
tube in the REAR hook with an arrow mark.
