2 Drain fluid from the tubes.
a On the standby screen, touch , <7. Maintenance menu>, <5. Drain menu> and <1. Eluent A> in that order.
• Eluent A will be drained from the tube.
• After completion, the [Drain menu] screen will appear again.
b Select <2. Eluent B>.
• Eluent B will be drained from the tube.
• After completion, the [Drain menu] screen will appear again.
c Select <3. Eluent CV>.
• Eluent CV will be drained from the tube.
• After completion, the [Drain menu] screen will appear again.
3 Remove the hemolysis washing solution bottle and drain fluid from the tube.
a Remove the hemolysis washing solution bottle.
• See 1-b to 1-g.
b Disconnect the fluid level detection sensor cord from the WASH terminal on the rear panel.
c Select <4. Hemolysis washing sol.>.
• Hemolysis washing solution will be drained from the tube.
• After completion, the [Drain menu] screen will appear again.
d Touch to return to the standby screen.
1.6.3 Unplugging the Power Cord
a Make sure the standby screen is displayed and press the standby switch to turn off the power.
b Press the “ ” side of the main power switch on the rear panel to turn off the main power.
c Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
d Unplug the power cord from the power input terminal on the rear panel.
NOTE:
Be sure to drain fluid first from the eluent A, B and CV tubes. Eluents cannot be drained if the hemolysis
washing solution is drained first.
