2. At the front yoke, grease the grooves, 1. Place
support rings, 2, around the grooves. Place the
smaller support ring so that the grease fitting
faces the rear yoke.

3. Slide the cone shield back on to the shaft
covering the CV joint. Position the cone shield so
that the grease fitting, 1, on the support ring is
protruding from its relative hole in the cone
shield.

4. Align the radial holes, 1, in the shield with the
grease fittings, 2, on the CV joint. Lubricate the
PTO shaft with grease.
