NOTE: When a data application is connected, an icon
appears in the status bar of the channel screen ( ).
NOTE: MIL/STANAG 2G Data is implemented by the
RM50 encryptor module. You must have the RM50
module fitted to use this feature.
NOTE: The RM50 module can be upgraded from TPS
System Programmer or from a USB stick. See
Upgrading the transceiver via a USB stick on
page 122 for more information.
CAUTION: A permit from the Australian government is required
if you want to upgrade the RM50 module with an
export controlled version firmware package, which
enables AES-256 Encryption and Low Rate DV
capabilities.
