3. Remove fuel pump and check governor
calibration. Refer to PT Fuel Pump
Rebuild and Calibration Manual, Bulletin
No. 3379084.
4. Remove fuel pump and check calibration
and verify correct parts. Refer to Proce-
dure 5-02.

1. Bleed air from EFC module.
2. Check + 12VDC supply wire to PCU, 10
amp fuse and connections and PCU
harness ground connections.
3. Adjust ESS.
4. Check ESS for short circuits and open
circuits. Remove ESS and check for
debris or damage.
5. Check terminal connections for discolora-
tion and tight fit.
6. Remove EFC module and check orifice
and filter screen.
7. Check EFC valve.
8. Replace EFC valve.
9. Replace PCU.
