enable gvrp
Purpose To enable GVRP on the Switch.
Syntax
enable gvrp
Description The enable gvrp command, along with the disable gvrp command
below, is used to enable and disable GVRP on the Switch, without
changing the GVRP configuration on the ports and the LAGs.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable the generic VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP):
DGS3100# enable gvrp
Success.
DGS3100#
disable gvrp
Purpose To disable GVRP on the Switch.
Syntax
disable gvrp
Description The disable gvrp command, along with the enable gvrp command
above, is used to enable and disable GVRP on the Switch, without
changing the GVRP configuration on the ports and the LAGs.
Parameters None.

show vlan
Purpose To display the current VLAN configuration on the Switch
Syntax
show vlan {<vlan_name 32>}
Description The show vlan command displays summary information about each
VLAN including the VLAN ID, VLAN name, the Tagging/Untagging
status, and the Member/Non-member/Forbidden status of each port
that is a member of the VLAN.
Parameters <vlan_name 32> − The name of the VLAN whose settings are to be
displayed.
