show arpentry 
Purpose  To display the ARP table. 
Syntax 
show arpentry {ipif system | ipaddress <ipaddr> | static } 
Description The show arpentry command displays the current contents of the 
Switch’s ARP table. 
Parameters  ipif system <ipif_name 12> – The name of the IP interface, the end 
node or station for which the ARP table entry was made, resides on.
ipaddress <ipaddr> – The network address corresponding to the IP 
interface name above. 
static – Displays the static entries to the ARP table. 
Restrictions None. 
Example usage: 
To display the ARP table: 
DGS3100# show arpentry

config arp_aging time 
Purpose  To configure the age-out timer for ARP table entries on the Switch. 
Syntax 
config arp_aging time <value 1-65535 > 
Description The config arp_aging time command sets the maximum amount of 
time, in minutes, that an ARP entry can remain in the Switch’s ARP 
table, without being accessed, before it is dropped from the table. 
Parameters  time <value 1-65535> – The ARP age-out time, in minutes. The 
value may be in the range of 1-65535 minutes, with a default setting 
of 20 minutes. 
Restrictions  Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command. 
Example usage: 
To configure ARP aging time: 
DGS3100# config arp_aging time 30
