Do not use anything with a ame (e.g., torch) to heat up the impeller.
30. Carefully lower the Volute to the floor.
31. Remove the Second Stage Impeller. This will require the use of a heat gun to heat up the
impeller. Do not use a torch!
32. Remove the eight (8) screws and remove the front touchdown bearing/labyrinth seal plate with
the “U”- Spacer.
