Needle bar

To set the needle bar sideways:
1. Remove the arm cover.
2. Remove the head cover.
3. Loosen the screw (3).
4. Loosen the screws (2) on the adjusting rings.
5. Loosen the screws (1) on the crank pin.

6. Shift the needle bar linkage (4).
The needles plunge into the center of the needle holes (5) on
the throat plate.
7. Tighten the adjusting rings and fasten the screws (2).
8. Tighten the screw (3).
9. Tighten the screws (1).
