6. Loosen the screw (7).
7. Set the eccentric (4) such that the needle guard (6) pushes the
needle (8) away by another 0.05 mm, resulting in a distance of 0.15 mm
between hook tip (5) and needle groove (8).
8. Tighten the screw (7).
9. Remove the lock.
10. Turn the handwheel and check how far the needle guard (6) pushes
the needle (8) away.

• Needle bar height ( p. 32)
• Loop stroke ( p. 65)
• Distance between hook tip and needle ( p. 67)
• Setting the needle guard ( p. 69)
