4. Carry out a cutting test with loose threads.
The loose threads must be cut cleanly before being clamped by
the thread clamp.

5. If the loose threads are not cut cleanly and clamped, the knives and
the thread-pulling knife must be replaced or adjusted.
6. Loosen screws (3) and (4).
7. Replace the knives (6) and the thread-pulling knife (5).
