Variable Description Default min max
Current Limit
Sets the power supply current limit in mA (0 to 9999) which when
exceeded, will generate an alert warning. For example, the limit for a 3A
PSU could be set to 2000mA, 3000mA for a 4A PSU, 5000mA for a 6A
PSU. When set to 0, PSU overcurrent will not be monitored.

ance the entry/exit time cannot exceed 45 seconds.

E/E Common
Sets the entry/exit time for the Common area. The default is 45 seconds
for Class IV systems.

Bell Delay
This is the delay period between an alarm digi-activation and the exter-
nal/area bell outputs being activated.
Note:
•Setting this variable to 0 will disable all bells.
•The Maximum Bell Delay Period for EN50131 Compliance is 10 min-
utes (600 S)
•This Delay Period does not apply to System or Zone tampers.

Bell Time
The time period for which the external siren/bell (output 2) and Com-
mon/Area bells will sound for before automatic shut down. For Class IV
Systems, the default bell time is 900 seconds. This setting can only be
changed if required to comply with local specifications. Setting this varia-
ble to 0 will give an infinite bell time.

Modem
Set to YES if you want the modem to dial out on alarm. Compatible with
ED2000 or Eurodial 2000 PC software.
NO NO YES
Output Log
This variable controls the logging of outputs. If set to 1, any output which
changes state is logged. When set to 0, output activity is not logged.

disarmed.

Service Reset
This facility is incorporated so that after an alarm activation, or any
tamper condition, a service company engineer must attend the installa-
tion and reset this variable to 1 before the System may be set/armed
again. An alarm in set/arm mode will increment the variable to 2 and
cause the message “+CALL SERVICE+” to be displayed. If set to 0, then
a service visit is not required after an alarm activation.
Service Reset can be over-ridden by Coded Reset or by the engineer
accepting alerts – see Coded Reset in the 3GS Version 5 User Guide.
Note:
•For EN50131 compliance Service Reset variable must be set to 1.
•If DD243 variable is set to YES then a Service Reset will only be
required after a confirmed alarm.
