8 OUTPUT NODE
Description
The 8 Output node has all of the features of the 6 Output node, with an additional two relay outputs.
The node also features ferrite beads for improved ringnet noise immunity, a resettable PTZ fuse, and an upgradeable
flash memory chip.
Input and output connections are identical to those of the 6 Output node. The connection blocks on the 8O are
removable.

Front tamper The node monitors for front tamper.

Upgradeable flash memory chip. The chip can be upgraded using controller software.

Infrared communications interface Used for HHT communications .

Outputs Eight on-board 1Amp single pole changeover relay outputs

PTZ fuse 200mA resettable.

Auxiliary supply(12V) Used to power auxiliary devices to a maximum of 200mA.

Ringnet Communications Connect the Ringnet cable to the four terminals 1A to 2B.
Node Cabinets
Both 6 output and 8 output nodes have the same cabinet as the 8x1 and 8x2 nodes – see “Node Cabinet” on page 5-
17.
