1 Touch the location:
• Local
•SD RAM Card
•USB Drive
2 Touch the Macro file.
This automatically runs the Macro file. Measure your part following the steps in
the Macro file. If the Auto Save option is selected in the Macro file, a Part file
will automatically save when the measurement steps are completed. You can
repeat the measurement steps again or quit.
Save Macro
Use this command to save a set of measurement steps in a Macro (*.Macro) File.
Macro files are measurement steps, or commands, without actual measurement
data. These files also include all nominal and tolerance values, and measurement
pictures.
1 Enter a name for the Macro file. There are some options to set with a Macro
file. Touch the OPTIONS button:
• The Auto Save option automatically saves a part file and a report file after
the measurement steps are completed. Touch to select or clear the Auto Save
option.
• Touch the units for the Macro file.
2 Touch the location:
• Local
•SD RAM Card
•USB Drive

OTE: Touch the other location buttons to quickly save the Part file to
multiple locations.
3 Touch the BACK button to return to the FILES menu, or the HOME button to
return to the MAIN menu.
Transfer Files
Use this command to transfer Macro, Part Data, and Report files from one
location to another.

OTE: To delete any file, transfer it to the Trash Can.
