Chapter 7: Software
• Touch the BACK button to return to the SETTINGS menu, or the HOME
button to return to the MAIN menu.
Software Update
Use this command to update the Edge software. Use this command only after
receiving an Edge software update USB drive, or downloading the update file
and copying it to your USB drive.
1 Insert the USB Drive into the port on the left side of the Fold-Down Touch
Screen Controller. See “Fold-Down Touch Screen Controller” on page 25.
2 On the MAIN menu, touch SETTINGS > UPDATE SOFTWARE.
3 Notice the existing software version and the new software version on the USB
drive to make sure that they are different.
4 Touch the button to update the system.
When the software update is complete, the Edge will automatically restart. If
there is any problem in this process, the original software version will be
automatically restored.
