Chapter 9: Configuring the FARO Edge in CAM2 Q
Hole Compensation
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the PROBE COMPENSATION POINT
button to compensate the probe. For more information, see “Hole Compensation
Method” on page 185.
Sphere Compensation
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the PROBE COMPENSATION
SPHERE button to compensate the probe. For more information, see “Sphere
Compensation Method” on page 187.
Hardware Configuration
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the HARDWARE CONFIGURATION
button to change the setup of the Edge. For more information, see “Hardware
Configuration” on page 178.
Diagnostics
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the DIAGNOSTICS button to show the
Edge D

OTE: The MEASUREMENT WINDOW appears when the CAM2 Q ADD
READINGS command is started, or when any measure feature command is
started in MEASURE NOW mode.
In the M
ODE SETTINGS dialog:
• Single Point: press the FRONT button, or the G key, to collect a single
reading.
