Chapter 7: Software
Review Features
Use this command to review existing measurement features. Touch a feature to
see the measurement values for the feature. If a feature is dependent on another
feature, those features also highlight.
Touch the L
ABEL field to change the feature name.
Touch the DELETE icon to remove the feature.
Touch the NOMINALS icon to enter nominal and tolerance values for the
feature.
Touch the CAMERA icon to add a picture and measurement targets to the
feature.

OTE: You cannot delete a feature that is needed by another. For example, a
plane that is needed by a circle, a sphere that is needed by a length, or a line
that is needed by a coordinate system.
Nominals
Touch the NOMINALS icon to enter nominal and tolerance values for the
feature. Touch each area to access the touch screen keyboard. After typing a
value touch the ENTER button.

OTE: The default tolerance value is an Application setting. See
“Application” on page 151.
By default, each nominal field is blank. When a nominal field is blank its value
will not appear on any results screen or in a report file. See “Save Report” on
page 149.
Measurement Pictures
You can add a measurement picture to the feature using the optional camera.
1 Touch the CAMERA icon and point the camera at your part. Look at the
screen and move the camera around the part until the image on the screen is
correct.
2 Push the CAMERA icon to take the picture.
3 Preview the picture. Touch OK to accept the picture, or touch the RETRY
button to discard the picture and recapture.
4 Add a Green Ball per point, or a single picture with multiple Green Balls.
Add a Green Ball for the first point and touch OK to continue.
Add a Green Ball for the other points.
