Compensation
The COMPENSATION menu contains the commands for the compensation of
the Edge and the Edge probes.
The Probe Compensation commands are also available in CAM2 Measure and
CAM2 Q. See “Probes” on page 178 and “Device Control Panel” on page 173.
For more information, see “Probe Compensation Overview” on page 180.
Hole Compensation
Touch the HOLE COMPENSATION button from the COMPENSATION menu.
For standard probes:
1 Touch the P
ROBES field and choose a probe from the list and touch the ENTER
button.
2 Touch the SETTINGS button.
• Touch the P
ROBE DIAMETER field and enter the exact diameter that is
stamped on the probe and touch the ENTER button.
• Touch the OK button.
For FARO i Probes:
1 Touch the P
ROBES field and choose a probe from the list and touch the ENTER
button.
2 Touch the SETTINGS button.
• Touch the ENABLE I-PROBE button. The exact probe diameter is
automatically set.
• Touch the OK button.
For all probes:
