Chapter 8: Configuring the FARO Edge in CAM2 Measure
NOTE: The MEASUREMENT WINDOW appears when the CAM2 Measure ADD
READINGS command is started, or when any measure feature command is
started in MEASURE mode.
In the M
ODE SETTINGS dialog:
• Single Point: press the FRONT button, or the G key, to collect a single
reading.
• Distance Interval: press the FRONT button, or the G key, to start the
distance interval. Collect a single reading when the probe moves a distance.
Choose this option, enter the distance value and press OK.
• Time Interval: press the FRONT button, or the G key, to start the time
interval. Collect a single reading over time. Choose this option, enter the
time value and press OK.

OTE: If the current probe is a Laser Line Probe on the FaroArm, it is best to use
the T
IME INTERVAL setting with a very small time interval. Setting the time
interval to 0ms collects point data at the FaroArm’s maximum speed.
