4.2.4 Protocol-based VLAN
This section contains the Protocol-based VLAN module messages.
Error Message Error: Failed to set VLAN Group Name. Invalid name entered.
Explanation The value of Protocol-based VLAN Group Name is blank.
Recommended Action Set Protocol-based VLAN Group Name with up to 16
alphanumeric characters.
Error Message Error: Failed to set <vlanGroupName>. Vlan Group Name must
contain alphanumeric characters only.
Explanation The value of VLAN Group Name is not alphanumeric character.
Recommended Action Set VLAN Group Name with up to 16 alphanumeric characters.
Error Message Error: VLAN format is invalid.
Explanation The value of Protocol-based VLAN ID is not numeric character.
Recommended Action Set Protocol-based VLAN ID with numeric character 1 to 4094.
Error Message Error: Value (<value>) is out of range for VLAN. The valid range
is 1 to 4094.
Explanation The value of Protocol-based VLAN ID is out of range.
Recommended Action Set Protocol-based VLAN ID with numeric character 1 to 4094.
Error Message Error: The group already exists.
Explanation The Protocol-based VLAN Group already exists.
Recommended Action Create other Protocol-based VLAN Group which is not
configured.
Error Message Error: Failed to attach interface to Group ID. Interface already
configured with another group using the same protocol.
Explanation The interface can not configured with the same protocol belong
to different VLAN Groups.
Recommended Action Set other interfaces which is not attached to the same protocol of
different VLAN Groups.
Error Message Error: Failed to set Protocols. It is already configured with
another group(s) which are sharing ports of this group.
Explanation The Protocol can not configured with the another VLAN Group
which is sharing the same port and VLAN ID.
Recommended Action Set Protocol to other VLAN Group which is not sharing the same
port and VLAN ID.
