4.3.9 Port-backup
This section contains the Port-backup module messages.
Error Message The active port should be different from the backup port.
Explanation The active port and backup port of Port-backup function can not
be set to use the same interface.
Recommended Action Use different interface rather than the backup port for the active
port.
Error Message Error: Failed to set Active Port.
Explanation The interface can not set to be active port.
Recommended Action Set active port with the interface which is not used by other
module.
Error Message Error: Failed to set Backup Port.
Explanation The interface can not set to be backup port.
Recommended Action Set backup port with the interface which is not used by other
module.
Error Message Error: port pair should be configured before enabling this group.
Explanation The active port and backup port have to be configured before
you enable this group.
Recommended Action Configure the active port and backup port before enabling group
mode.
Error Message Error: Failed to set Group ID.
Explanation There are already 6 maximum Port-backup Group existed. For
stacking switch, the maximum 32 port-backup group is
supported.
Recommended Action Reduce/Remove other unnecessary Port-backup group.
