4 Web Error Messages
4.1 Management
4.1.1 Configuration
This section contains the Configuration In-Band Mgmt messages.
Error Message Error : Invalid IP Address !
Explanation User input an invalid or reserved IP address.
Recommended Action Use the valid IP address for this function. IP address should be
in a.b.c.d format where range for a, b, c, and d is 1 - 255.
Error Message Error: Subnet mask must have contiguous ones.
Explanation User input an IP subnet mask that does not have contiguous
ones in binary. For example, 255.255.255.129, the decimal 129
is 10000001 in binary, it’s not a contiguous ones number.
Recommended Action Use the correct IP subnet mask format. The subnet mask should
have contiguous ones in binary. For example, 255.255.255.128
or 255.255.255.192 or 255.255.255.224.
Error Message Error: Value (<value>) is out of range for Managenent VLAN ID.
The valid range is 1 to 4094.
Explanation The value of VLAN ID is out of range.
Recommended Action The value of VLAN ID is 1 to 4094.
Error Message Error : This vlan does not exist.
Explanation User configure the Management VLAN ID, but the VLAN ID
doesn’t exist in the system.
Recommended Action Create the VLAN ID first and then set the Management VLAN ID
to this VLAN.
Error Message Error: Error: Failed to set port number.
Explanation The value of WEB port number is out of range.
Recommended Action The range of the WEB port number is 1 to 65535.
