4.3.2 Port-Group
This section contains the Port-Group module messages.
Error Message Error: Failed to set <portGroupName>. Port Group name must
contain alphanumeric characters only, and can't be empty.
Explanation It is failed to create a Port Group while the name is not
alphanumeric characters.
Recommended Action Use alphanumeric characters for the Port Group name to create
a Port Group and the name can not be empty.
The Port Group name can not contain “default” string.
Error Message Error: Failed to delete <portGroupName>.
Explanation The Port Group name is invalid.
Recommended Action Refresh the WEB page, and select the Port Group name again.
Error Message Error: Failed to create Port Group. Port Group already exists.
Explanation The Port Group name already exists.
Recommended Action Create the Port Group with a name which is not used in the
system.
Error Message Error: Can't set Port Group member <interface_identifier>.
Explanation The interface is already used by other Port Group.
Recommended Action Remove the used interface from the Port Group.
Error Message Error: Failed to set <portGroupName>.
Explanation There are maximum 36 Port Groups already configured.
Recommended Action Reduce/Remove the unnecessary Port Group.
Error Message Error: Failed to set <uplinkSetName>.
Explanation The uplink-set does’t existed to set for Port Group.
Recommended Action Refresh the WEB page and select a valid uplink-set for the Port
Group.
